I've been working at Scrapbook Mania since it opened. I've been scrapbooking for about 5 years, ever since my class trip to Europe in 2002. I wasn't the best scrapper 'til I started working here and got a lot of practice and ideas. I go to school at Madonna for Forensic Science and Schoolcraft for Criminal Justice. Between both schools and work, there's not a whole lot of time, so I've been focusing more on making cards, rather than scrapbooking. I love making cards. My most favorite scrapbooking tools would have to be chalk and my trimmer. I couldn't cut a straight line to save my life!

At scrapbook mania I work as a design team member, birthday party coordinator, and kids camp coordinator. I am a student studying biology with hopes of being a pediatrician. I love kids which makes me good at my job! A long with kids I love shopping, disneyworld, giggling, warm weather, people, smiling, traveling, and scrapbooking of course! I started scrapbooking three years ago, and I have been addicted ever since. Most of my scrapbooks are of my friends and I...I do a scrapbook for every school year. My most recent scrapbook is of my summer trip to Sydney, Australia! :-) I also tend to give scrapbooks as gifts. Shadow boxes, frames, & wall decorations are some of my favorite things to give as gifts! I try everything when I scrapbook, and as a result I don't have a favorite company or line! I love it all! If I had to pick I couldn't live without Chalk, great adhesive ( I prefer glue dots & my vario tab dispenser), my fiskars cutter, and coordinating paper!

This is Meaghan, our fabulous design team leader. She is also in charge of our TickledPinkKit club. It's not really a club, but we call it that anyway. She creates fabulous "kits" by taking several papers and adds creative embellishments to come up with an assortment of scrapbooking items designed to give you what you need to create 4-6 fabulous scrapbook pages. You buy what you want. Best of all-we have the best design team ever. We post their "creations" for you to use as you wish. They use only what is in the kit and will give you tons of motivation and creative ideas for you to use yourself.

Fun Classes for September

We have just scheduled two fun, new classes for September. The "Birthday in a Box" and "Take Note" back to school mini album are both adorable for capturing those once in a lifetime memories. Call the store or check our calendar for details and sign up.

It definately feels like Christmas in the store right now. Every day the boxes arrive and like little kids we're tearing them open! My Little Shoe Box today, My Minds Eye and Sandylion tomorrow. We've gotten a steady stream of new goods almost daily since the first of the month.

Just back from CHA in Chicago and the new merchandise is better than I ever imagined! 9 new lines from Reminisce are already here as well as all new Cosmo Cricket, and just arrived today -Daisy D's!
